HQ and Accommodation

Race HQ will be the location where you will register before the start and receive the course. You will do your planning here and submit your re-supply boxes to the logistics officials. Depending on the course you may start from HQ or embark on transportation to take you to the start. HQ will always be the location of the finish line.

Race HQ is normally chosen with camping facilities or fixed accommodation close by. Some teams will book accommodation for the Saturday night so they have somewhere to leave their personal gear while racing and so they have a hot shower and bed to return to in the early morning of Sunday!

Accommodation

There is no accommodation at HQ itself, but there is a huge range of accommodation very close by at Mooloolaba. There are some great resorts and it is the perfect opportunity to grab a great deal. Why not book a couple of extra days after the race to relax!

The nearest budget camping is at the Mooloolaba Beach Caravan Park. Technically vans only are permitted at the Ocean Beach part of the park (which is 150m from the school). Tent sites are available at the Parkyn Parade part of the park approx 900m from HQ. Mooloolaba also has a number of backpackers that have budget accommodation.
