TEAM OUTDOOR AUSTRALIA began with Kelly and Steve wanting to do the big one......XPD. After meeting Andrew through a friend at a sprint event we got him on board. Finding the fourth was not easy and after our original fell through we asked another friend Sean to join us. Now with the team complete ( at this stage called TEAM SUMMIT GEAR ) we started the long road of training and preparing for the big event.

We only managed about 3 outings together as a team with Sean being from Canberra and the rest from Sydney but we feel that we are ready for the challenge. After some handy work from Sean's better half Kim (Early Bird Marketing) we gained some help from OUTDOOR MAGAZINE to Become TEAM OUTDOOR AUSTRALIA.

Kelly - has raced 3 Geoquests and numerous other events but never anything this long. With heaps of all female wins in sprint events Kelly now races with the boys and loves it. This could all change after this event. Kelly brings her sense of humour and good looks to an otherwise ordinary looking team.

Andrew - has also raced a couple of Geoquests as well as some Triple Tri's. He brings to the team his organisation skills and knowledge of the event (he reads everything and anything to do with racing) as well as his endurance.

Sean  - has had similar experience to Andrew , a strong navigator , he will be man that will guide us through the endless nights and days to the finish (sounds like his work schedule). Along with these skills he also brings his great endurance to the team. Sean fits the 4th spot perfectly.

Steve - Geoquests and a 50hr under his belt , XPD was the next step. The old guy of the team (all 30 years) he has the job of captain. Steve brings his endurance and organisation skills to the team. The only non-suit of the team, hopefully the tradie legs will get him to the finish.
