| Adam, Matt and Sah are all replacements for the original team members who decided they didn’t like my lack of training. Now there are four of us who haven’t trained. Matt and I are running on muscle memory from XPD 2006 and are best known for racing with team mates that are faster than us. Adam and Sah have less combined racing hours than it will take us to get to mid camp and are hoping to learn from mine and Matts mistakes. They will probably train for the next one. Our team philosophy hasn’t been decided yet, but we expect to work it out on the trail. We also don’t have a navigator, so if you see us following you, don’t be alarmed. Please don’t ask us for directions or to confirm your location. We will have no idea. Generally we are looking at XPD as an opportunity to get away from work and really don’t care how hard it is. So long as the Blackberry’s are out of range, everything will be fine. We expect to finish some time during the presentation ceremony, so save us a seat and pillow. |
